Soon after, Jason was sworn in as a Deputy District Attorney in Umatilla County, Oregon.

Equal Justice Law was formed to ensure that the attorneys that work here are eligible for current existing student loan forgiveness programs. This has enabled Equal Justice Law to recruit and retain exceptional lawyers from prestigious law schools like Berkeley Law (Corbin Brooks and Meg Huntington). In March of 2025, the Board of Directors of Equal Justice Law voted to confirm Jason as the Executive Director of Equal Justice Law.
